Drivetrain is Sram Dual Drive as a middrive with triple chainring at the bottom bracket. Cog on middrive is 24 while cog on driven right axle is 18 tooth.
Brakes mechanical disk brakes on the rear wheels, V-brake on the front wheel which can also be used as a braking brake.
Lights, LED turn/running lights front and back, LED rear lightflashing light, second rear light which is also a brake light, horn, provision for headlights.
Rider size: The Aurora will accomodate riders from 160 cm the 190 and maybe a bit more. One of our testers is 180 cm and weighs in at 100 kg and he has room to spare. The width at the shoulders for a 187cm tall rider is 56cm(22").
Luggage capacity: We have measured the volume behind the seat by filling it with foam chips. This volume was 120 litres. There is still a bit more storage space under and beside the seat, another 40 litres. For a couple of pictures of the foam and camping gear see the August-september 2006 update.
Suspension: the two rear wheels have a composite spring providing over 5 cm of travel. Spring stiffness can be modified to suit the rider. Front wheel has no suspension but is fairly lightly loaded so we fell it is not necessary.
